The Wong Brothers
The Wong brothers, Zhen Jiang and Zhen Hai, are multi-disciplinary filmmakers with extensive experience in various aspects of film production, including editing, directing, special effects, acting, and stunt doubling. Their passion for storytelling is evident in their work, which spans a diverse range of genres, from quirky dramas to straight-faced comedies to art house films with long takes. They are known for their innovative approach to narrative, often pushing the boundaries of traditional storytelling to create fresh and compelling content.
Over the years, the Wong brothers have worked on an impressive array of projects, including notable post-production work for Mediacorp, such as "Where People Read", "City In a Garden" for the now-defunct OKTO, and "In Cold Blood" for Channel 5. Their directorial credits include TV shows like "Street Racers" for OKTO and "Shopaholics" for Channel 5.
In recent years, the Wong brothers have collaborated with major streaming platforms such as HBO Asia and Netflix, creating trailers for shows like "Folklore" and "Nowhere Man", which was Netflix's first original Chinese language series. They have also worked on award-winning films like "A Land Imagined", showcasing their skill and creativity in post-production.
One of their notable collaborations was with acclaimed producer and director Huang Junxiang on the Viddsee original series "A.I. Love K Drama", a comedy series inspired by the global success of K Dramas.
T. Y. S
Y.S is a seasoned media industry professional with over a decade of experience in multimedia production. He graduated from NANYANG ACADEMY of FINE ARTS in 2008 and has since built a comprehensive portfolio of commercial work for major brands, including Mercedes Benz, Canon, TCC, NCS, and NTUC Fairprice. He has worked with various creative agencies, including BBDO, Paradox, and TNT, in roles ranging from production assistant to line producer.
Y.S's expertise lies in managing complex productions, ensuring they run efficiently and smoothly. As a line producer, he is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content. His ability to work well under pressure and his meticulous attention to detail have made him a valuable asset to the production teams he has worked with.
In addition to his commercial work, Y.S has also contributed to the production of several television programs. He collaborated with Zhao Wei Films on the food documentary "Forgotten Flavours," which aired on OKTO in 2015. In 2018, he worked as a production manager on a toggle short series called "There's This Girl (EP 6)," produced by Jeremy Chua.
Y.S’s most recent project was as a line producer on a TVC shoot for a Japanese motor oil company, collaborating with The Wongs. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production, from pre-production to post-production, to ensure the final product met the client's expectations.
Overall, Y.S's diverse experience in the media industry, combined with his ability to adapt to different projects and work effectively with different teams, have made him a respected and sought-after professional in his field.
